Bridget Joubert Tate has been lighting up the capital city and surrounding areas since 2014. She works with homeowners, architects, interior designers, contractors, business owners and restauranteurs to select and curate lighting based on their application, style and budget. Throughout her career as a Lighting Stylist, Bridget has worked on residential and commercial projects at all levels and gained dedicated clientele and a steady stream of new referrals based on her clients’ positive reviews. Work on stunning projects and award-winning lighting design has put her stamp on the Greater Baton Rouge area. 

Bridget is the owner and Lighting Curator for Capital City Lighting in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Her latest collaborations include impressive projects with Manchac Homes, Colony Homes, Meridian Homes, Ivy Residential Concepts, Rachel Cannon Limited, J Hand Homes, Jeff Taaffe Designs, and others. Her eye for curating a cohesive lighting package has gained a following and a demand to work with her. A new project and all the selections needed can be overwhelming, Bridget helps to make this an easy and enjoyable experience with her knowledge and background. Creative, Curated, Lighting Design is her passion.

Born in Ville Platte, La and raised in Acadiana before moving to Baton Rouge at age 14, her Cajun background is evident in how she treats people and likes to connect with each client so that they have the best experience possible. Personable and knowledgeable, you can trust her with your project and enjoy the experience at the same time.

When not working, Bridget enjoys spending time with her four children: Garret 24, James 22, Rosie 18 and Thomas 17. “Our house is always full of laughter, music, and the smell of good food- Oh, and great lighting too, of course.”- Bridget
